“As Chair of the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute, I extend a warm invitation to you to attend IREC 08 - International Renewable Energy Conference. We are very excited about this conference and believe we have put together an exciting and innovative programme on renewable energy that will stimulate interesting and relevant discussion during the event.
We have secured a range of international, specialist speakers from Europe and the USA and I am very pleased that some of our top AFBI scientists will also be speaking. The theme for the conference is "Global Challenges - Community Solutions".
I am confident that when you examine the conference programme you will agree with me that the event will be a forum for extending our knowledge and for significant discussion on potential contributions to the global challenges that face us all, through the development and implementation of community solutions in renewable energy .
